The Artist

A Journey Through Light and Emotion

My name is Katerina Georgiadou, and I sign my artworks as Kate.
Formerly a model and now an active painter, I have been creating for as long as I can remember — because art has always been a way for me to find calm and express what lies deep within.

I grew up with the need to capture what I feel — sometimes with pencil and charcoal, other times with acrylics. Painting was never simply a hobby; it has always been an essential part of my everyday life.

Under the guidance of Stavros Douzinas, I developed my eye and technique in oil painting, discovering a deeper and more mature form of artistic expression — one that I continue to explore and evolve to this day.

In 2021, I was awarded 2nd prize in the Phoenix competition, and in 2022 one of my works was selected among the 12 best artworks of the year — moments that confirmed and strengthened my personal artistic journey.

L’Artelier by Kate is not simply a studio — it is my personal creative space, where each artwork begins as an idea and gradually evolves through time, light, and detail.

Every painting is created as a unique piece (1/1), without reproductions, with respect for the process and the emotion that inspired it.

I also undertake commissioned works, ensuring that the final piece reflects the space, personality, or story you wish to capture.

Each artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, guaranteeing its originality.
